Oxbridge Education Group Honored to Participate in the Celebration of the 41st Anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day at Partner Schools

In harmony with the joyous and enthusiastic spirit of thousands of teachers nationwide welcoming the appreciation day for Vietnamese Teachers, the Leadership Team of 𝐎𝐱𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 is honored to be invited to attend the Commemoration Ceremony of the 41st Anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day (20/11/1982-20/11/2023) at partner schools such as Cau Giay Secondary School, Dich Vong Secondary School, Trung Hoa Secondary School, Cau Dien High School, Trung Van High School, and dozens of other schools in Hanoi. 

The ceremony also provided an opportunity for the OEG Leadership Team to express profound gratitude to our partner schools and units that have accompanied us throughout the time with the ‘education cultivation’ mission.

𝐎𝐄𝐆 hopes to continue dedicating efforts and creativity in its programs, collaborating and accompanying partner schools to contribute to shaping the quality of modern education as it stands today.

OEG Showcases STEM Products at Specialized Science and Engineering Day

On November 21, at Le Loi Middle School in Ha Dong, a Professional Day event took place featuring a Science and Engineering Competition showcasing STEM Teaching Products.

STEM education equips learners with essential knowledge and skills related to the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These integrated and complementary components enable students not only to understand principles but also to apply them in practice, creating products that can serve daily life.

Le Loi Middle School passionately organized a Science and Engineering Day to showcase STEM teaching products, aiming to bring the concept of STEM closer to students and parents alike.

Honored to participate in this professional day, Oxbridge Education Group brought models, STEM products, and especially the mTiny robot to the competition, allowing students to experience and familiarize themselves with programming language in a simple and tangible way. This is also a strong educational program offered by OEG to partner schools.

During the discussion session on November 23rd, teachers and center instructors engaged in dynamic conversations on the ‘Activities in Teaching Speaking’ topic.

Speaking is a crucial skill that requires cultivation and effort from each individual. Furthermore, it is considered an art of oration, presenting content to someone or a group using one’s voice and thoughts in various styles.

Recognizing the significance of students’ skills and psychology, OEG teachers have introduced teaching activities instead of solely focusing on theoretical lectures. This approach aims to engage young learners more effortlessly and ignite their interest in the English language.

The ongoing debate surrounding the ideal age for children to commence learning a second language primarily revolves around two age groups:

– First Age Range: Parents are encouraged to familiarize their children with a second language between the ages of 2-4. Learning during this period does not necessarily involve formal education but emphasizes exposing children to the second language through various means such as movies, audio stories, and songs….

This stage offers multiple advantages for young learners. Preschoolers absorb languages rapidly due to their receptive minds, resembling blank slates. Since they haven’t developed extensive speaking abilities, their time is predominantly spent listening.

– Second Age Range: Parents may consider introducing their children to English studies around the ages of 6-7. At this juncture, children have a foundational understanding of their native language, making it an opportune time to introduce another language.

Initiating second language studies at this age diminishes the likelihood of language disorders. However, achieving native-like fluency at this starting point necessitates a more prolonged period of time and dedicated effort.
